First League. LNZ will play in the joints with the Premier League, Karpaty on the verge of a fiasco

On Monday, May 22, regular matches were played in the Promotion Group of the First League of the Ukrainian Championship.

Cherkasy LNZ defeated Lviv Karpaty 4:1 in the home game and successfully solved the intermediate task for the season. He won the right to play in play-offs with a representative of the Ukrainian Premier League for the right to move up in class.

With 22 points after 13 matches, LNZ is in 3rd place in the Promotion Group table and will not fall below 4th position.

Now Metalurh Zaporozhye is in the fourth position. He has 20 points after a home win over Epicenter – 1:0.

Fifth place is occupied by Karpaty with 17 points. In the final round, Karpaty will host Obolon, which has already advanced ahead of schedule in the Premier League. And “Metallurg” is waiting for an away match with “Niva” Ternopil – an outsider of the table (7 points after 13 meetings).
