“I feel fresh and fast. Ready to renew contract

The pilot of the team Aston Martin Fernando Alonso, who will be 42 years old in the summer, is not thinking about ending his career in Formula 1 and is ready to discuss a new contract.

“Things are going better this season than expected, which makes us even more thinking about a contract extension. I feel fresh, motivated and fast. I don’t know how many seasons I have left in Formula 1 – two, three or four.”

“I would like to compete for something important, but you also need to finish your career with a smile on your face, with good emotions,” Alonso said.

Alonso has finished on the podium four times in five races this season and is third overall.
