The team of the Lviv football club will cease to exist even before the end of the 2022/2023 season in the Ukrainian Premier League.
The club president Bogdan Kopytko will put an end to the life of the team on June 1. It is reported that the team’s players have already been informed by the club’s management that they must pick up their belongings from the club’s base.
Before the end of this season, Lviv has to play three more matches. On May 25, he will host Chernomorets at home, and on the 29th – Ingulets. According to the calendar, on June 3, the “citizens” are waiting for the away game with “Kolos”, but the Lviv team do not plan to go to the match.
Recall that last weekend in the match of the 27th round, Lviv lost in the Lviv derby to Rukh with a score of 0:2 and was relegated from the UPL ahead of schedule.
