Vitaliy Stepanovsky, coach of the Ukrainian national basketball team, said that he is counting on Prometheus players Ivan Tkachenko, Ilya Sidorov and Denis Lukashov in summer matches, who underwent surgery at the end of the season and are now recovering.

“I talked with Sidorov and Tkachenko after the operations, they are gradually recovering. Unfortunately, in relation to Ivan, in his case it is 101% that he will not have time to recover in the national team. Regarding Ilya, he has a theoretical chance to recover, but it is minimal. I want to wish all the guys, including Denis Lukashov, to recover as soon as possible and be ready for the club season, and then for the national team,” Stepanovsky said.

Earlier, Vitaliy Stepanovsky said that NBA players Oleksiy Len and Svyatoslav Mikhailyuk want to help the Ukrainian national team.
