Former WBA, IBF, IBO and WBO world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has revealed that in 2023 he intends to do everything possible to get closer to returning to the championship belt race.
“I love it when other fighters mention my name. I have many opportunities for a loud fight. I will fight whoever is ready. I have to be consistent, be ready to fight. I’m dying to win back the titles. With all my heart and soul I want to be world champion again.
This year I lost, and this defeat knocked me out of the championship race. It became a new chapter in my life. I’m not used to it, because for seven years I was in the championship race. It’s hard to come to terms with that.”
As you know, on August 20 of this year, Anthony Joshua lost to Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk by a split decision in a rematch for the WBA, IBF, IBO and WBO titles.
