“Len and Mikhailyuk want to help the Ukrainian national team”

In August, the Ukrainian national basketball team will play in the pre-qualification tournament for the 2024 Olympics. The head coach of the Blue-and-Yellows, Vitaly Stepanovsky, said whether he is counting on NBA players Alexei Len and Svyatoslav Mikhailyuk.

“I talked with both players – with Alexei and Svyatoslav. Both have a great desire to come to the national team. While there are certain questions, because they are now free agents and are looking for their contracts in the NBA. They will be able to sign the contract after July 1. Plus, Alexey has a moment with documents, which, I hope, will be resolved. But both players are ready to help the national team and assured that, if possible, they will join the team with great desire,” Stepanovsky said.
