“Maximov did not see me as a football player”

The Ukrainian defender of Ludogorets Igor Plastun recalled his period of work with Yuriy Maksimov at Obolon:

“Very bad. He didn’t see me on the team. I don’t think he even saw me as a footballer who could achieve anything. I don’t feel any negative about it.

This is just one of the periods of my life. I also have good memories of Maksimov. Still, with him I made my debut later in the Premier League.
