NBA legend Anthony announces retirement

NBA legend Carmelo Anthony announced his retirement at the age of 38. The last club in the NBA for Anthony was the Los Angeles Lakers, in which he played in the 2021/2022 season.

In total, Anthony spent 19 seasons in the NBA, took part in the All-Star Game 10 times. In the 2012/2013 season, he became the most productive player in the regular season.

In the NBA, Anthony played for the Denver, New York Knicks, Oklahoma, Houston, Portland, and Los Angeles Lakers. As part of the US national team three times (in 2008, 2012 and 2016) he became the Olympic champion.
