Chelsea head coach Frank Lampard responded to a question about how difficult it is for him to carry out his duties now:

“Is my current job at Chelsea the most challenging I’ve had in the last 20 years of the team’s life? That would be a good headline for you, but I don’t know what to say.

We will see and analyze this in the future, but as of right now, I have nothing to add. I think it’s a fantastic job anyway, because it’s a job at Chelsea.

When I came here for the second time, I probably got this position only because none of the leading managers in the world would risk taking this position. But I enjoy the process itself and I like to come to the aid of my native team.

Pochettino? I wish success to the new manager. Apparently, Chelsea is now his problem. This is the headline you wanted to hear from me.”
