Barcelona have officially announced that left-back Jordi Alba is leaving the team at the end of the season. The player’s contract was calculated until the summer of 2024, but the player wanted to leave now.
The 34-year-old has made 458 appearances for the Barcelona first team and won numerous trophies: 6 La Liga titles, 1 Champions League, 1 UEFA Super Cup, 5 Spanish Cups, 4 Spanish Super Cups and 1 Club World Cup.
Alba has made 29 appearances this season, scoring 2 goals and making 6 assists.
Earlier it became known that Sergio Bustkets will leave the team in the summer.
