Israeli “Maccabi” from Haifa announced the transfer of 21-year-old German forward “Nuremberg” Eric Shuranov, who has Ukrainian roots.
With the Israeli club Shuranov signed a full contract for three years.
The parties do not disclose the amount of the transaction, but Transfermarkt confirms Sport.ua’s information that the transfer cost Maccabi 1 million euros.

Maccabi’s official communiqué notes that Shuranov was born in Germany to a Ukrainian family, but also has Jewish roots.
Previously, Shuranov, who is a graduate of the Nuremberg academy, played for the national teams of Ukraine U-16, U-17 and U-18, and then took German citizenship and played a number of matches for the German national teams U-20 and U-21.
