The Aston Martin team is counting on the slow track at Monaco to help beat Red Bull for the first time of the season, who have won all five rounds of the current Formula 1 championship.
“This is our chance. Slow tracks are our chance. Monaco, Budapest, Singapore – here you can fight for victories. Unfortunately, only on such tracks there are chances,” said pilot Fernando Alonso.
The head of Aston Martin Michael Crack agrees with the experienced racer.
“I am pleased to say that we are focused on winning in Monaco. The simulator shows that we have a chance. We have very high hopes for Monaco, but we must not forget Red Bull,” said Crack.
The Monaco Grand Prix starts on Friday.
