The game of the 28th round “Minay” – “Rukh” ended in a draw. Immediately after the match, the head coach of the hosts Vladimir Sharan shared his impressions of the meeting.

– Such matches, when two or three rounds remain until the end, always take place in the struggle that we saw. Both Rukh and we have one task – to continue our performance in the UPL next season. I am grateful to the guys for doing everything that was required of them, while they had the strength. We understood who we were playing against – this is a young, organized team. In the first half, we tried to put a lot of pressure, it worked out in moments. Unfortunately, two crossbars did not allow us to score such a coveted goal before the break.

And in the second half, I knew that we would sit down. Defended, pressed less. We played more compactly in defense, in an organized manner. With the advent of Talles on the field, Rukh’s game changed for the better. But, to be honest, I don’t remember the moments at our gates. Except for a few cool shots. In the second half there was already a game for a draw, which is needed, and which, probably, satisfied the team.

– Did the forced replacement of Vadim Vitenchuk in the second half affect your plans for building the game?
– I think no. Vitenchuk is one of our best players, who spends the championship almost without substitutions. But I’m already thinking about the next fight, which is the most important one. I don’t want him to be seriously injured.

I wanted to make replacements even earlier, but it was difficult to change something in such a situation. But the third slot, when three replacements took place at once, was already carried out, one might say, involuntarily. After all, it was necessary to refresh the game.

– How much will this draw help the team avoid transitional matches?
– It’s hard to say, you have to watch how the competitors play. And start from these results. But we do not keep count, but we understand that we need to win in every match. 30 points scored by us may not be enough, even 31 may not be enough. Hard to say. The situation is such that each victory raises several steps at once. This is how it turned out after the victory over Chornomorets: they had many chances, and we won and got out of the danger zone.

Two more rounds are decisive. God grant that Minai and Rukh continue their performances in the Premier League.
