Ukrainians helped Unia win medals

Ukrainian legionnaires and candidates for the national team of the country defender Philip Pangelov-Yuldashev and striker Andrey Deniskin won bronze medals in the 2022/23 season in the Polish Championship.

Our hockey players helped “Uniia” from Auschwitz in two matches for the third place to overcome “Cracovia” (3:2, 3:2) and climb to the third step of the podium.

The statistics of Ukrainians in the playoffs is as follows: Andriy Deniskin – 10 (4+6) points in 9 games, Philipp Pangelov-Yuldashev – 9 (3+6) points in 14 matches.

In the final of the playoffs, Katowice won the series against Tychy with a score (4-0) and became the champions of Poland for the second year in a row.
