Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina (WTA 508) reached the final of the WTA 250 clay tournament in Strasbourg (France).
In the semi-finals of the competition, the Ukrainian beat Clara Burel (France, WTA 122) in three sets with a score of 4:6, 7:5, 6:3.
In the second installment, the Ukrainian lost 1:4, but managed to win 4 games in a row and return to the game, and soon close the match altogether.
For Svitolina, this will be the first final since August 2021. Then she took the trophy at the WTA 250 hard tournament in Chicago.
In the match for the title in Strasbourg, Svitolina will play with the representative of the country 404 Anna Blinkova. The meeting is scheduled for May 27, the approximate start time of the fight is 16:00 Kyiv time.
