“We played one goal scored”
The head coach of Vorskla Poltava Viktor Skrypnyk commented on the victory over Kryvbas (1:0) in the match of the 27th round of the Ukrainian Premier League.
– It worked out the way it did. We did not expect that there would be a game with a large number of goals. We played one goal scored. Then – as it always happens – there was a reaction from the opponent, who switched to bulk. We gave up the initiative, started to play more “against” the ball. I think we deserved this goal. When the result is positive, it only adds strength to the next matches.
I note that now we have two guys missing the next round – this is Zhenya Pavlyuk and Seferi, so we will see who to replace them with. It’s good that Vorskla has good young performers.
– Viktor Anatolyevich, the off-season is ahead. Are there any plans for future enhancements? What positions do you plan to strengthen and to what extent the club’s budget allows?
– We agreed that everything will be cleared up before the last game of the current championship. We will sit down, talk and solve this issue. Now we are thinking about current affairs. On Wednesday – the game, on Monday the train, then – the bus. We have such a picture before our eyes, and then we will look more globally.
