Ukrainian tennis player Dayana Yastremskaya (WTA 144) successfully started performances at Roland Garros 2023.
In the first round of qualifying for the French Open, the Ukrainian beat Alexandra Ignatik (Kadanzu) (WTA 260) from Romania in 1 hour and 45 minutes.

In the first game, Dayana lost 4:5 with a break, but managed to win 3 games in a row, 2 of which were at the reception. In the second game, the Ukrainian lost 0:2 and hung on a break point in the third game, but returned to the game and won the match.
It was the girls’ first meeting.
In the second round of qualifying, Dayana will play with Sachiya Vickery (WTA 169) from the USA.
